One taste of this indulgent vegan queso fundido dip and you'll be saying "I can't believe this is vegan!" This recipe is mostly fat free except for the optional olive oil & daiya garnish! Plus zero cruelty, zero cholesterol, and zero worries. Enjoy!
Ingredients
Vegan Queso Fundido Dip |
- 2 T olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1/2 roll (7oz) Gimme Lean Sausage (veggie protein, ground beef style)
- 2 T Bragg Liquid Aminos (or soy sauce, optional)
- 1 jar (14oz) Nacho Mom's Fat Free Ultimate Vegan Queso
- 2 oz Daiya Cheddar Style Shreds (optional)
Preparation (15 mins)
- Heat olive oil in a small skillet (4in to 6in)
- Mince garlic and saute briefly
- Add Gimme Lean sausage
- Chop sausage into bites with a spatula
- Spread sausage into a layer on the bottom
- Squirt with Bragg's or soy sauce and saute 5 mins
- Carefully spoon or pour Nacho Mom's Vegan Queso on top. Do NOT stir it! This makes a tasty layered dip.
- Place a lid on the skillet, lower heat, simmer 5 mins to bubbly hot
- Optional: Garnish with Daiya Cheddar Style Shreds
- Replace lid, melt the Daiya partially
- Serve as a dip, on a hot plate with chips
